| BREWERY | ALE | TASTING NOTES |
| Ascot Ales | Single Hop Summer 4.6% |
Copper IPA brewed each month showcasing a single hop variety. Summer is an Australian hop that gives a distinctive light apricot and melon fruit notes with a big bitterness. |
| Bingham Brewery | Twyford Tipple 3.7% ABV | Twyford Tipple is an easy drinking tawny coloured bitter which has a satisfying malty flavour with a citrus hop finish. Named after the adjacent parish of Twyford, we think that this tipple is deliciously satisfying despite its lower alcoholic strength. The citrus hops give a refreshing, thirst quenching finish. |
| Brickworks Bitter 4.2% ABV | A malty bitter which is chestnut in colour with a slightly nutty hint. Hops balance the maltiness to provide a well rounded best bitter. The brewery on Tavistock Estate is built on the site of the Cotterell Brickworks which closed in 1939. |
|
| Space Hoppy IPA 5.0% ABV | A pale golden ale and the hops impart a citrus flavour to make this beer hugely refreshing and ideal for accompanying most foods. Space Hoppy IPA won the Strong Bitter category at the SIBA South East Beer Competition 2011. |
|
| Vanilla Stout 5.0% ABV | This stout is infused with vanilla pods which complement the dark malts to create a smooth drinking, deliciously dark stout. Vanilla Stout came second in the Speciality Beer category at the SIBA South East Beer Competition 2011. |
|
| Sherfield Village Brewery | Christmas Beer - 5.8% ABV |
A rich blend of malt and hops with an infusion of Christmas spices, which add flavour without overpowering the beer |
Brown Porter - 5.2% ABV |
As the name suggests, a brown porter, brewed with plenty of brown malt and lots of hops. Well rounded and very tasty
Cutting Response - 4.5% ABV |
We invited Chris Cutting to come along for a day of brewing. He was aiming for a hoppy golden beer, packed with New Zealand hops. We think he did pretty well
Foursight - 4.5% ABV |
A slightly sweeter, copper-coloured beer with some biscuity malt balanced with a fairly robust hoppiness. Casking finished at 4am - hence the oddly-spelled name. |
|
SOLO Green Bullet - 4.3% ABV |
Another single-hop four-stage brew. Not a huge amount on the nose, but plenty on the palate. Golden colour.
| Windsor & Eton Brewery | Guardsman - 4.3% ABV | Guardsman Best Bitter is a copper-coloured classic ale with a tangy taste, smoothed by oak conditioning and a really fresh hop. It is brewed with premium Maris Otter pale malt and a blend of Pilgrim, Styrian Golding and Fuggles hops |
Conqueror 1075 – 7.4% ABV |
With an original gravity of 1075 this is a stronger special edition of Conqueror not for the faint hearted. CONQUEROR 1075 is a rich and complex innovative black IPA brewed from a unique blend of five speciality malts along with Cascade and Pacific Jade whole leaf hops. |
|
Irish Conqueror – 5.0% ABV |
Conqueror is a rich, complex and very distinctive ale. It is brewed with a careful blend of 5 speciality malts along with Summit and Cascade hops to produce an intense combination of roasted flavours balanced with full fresh pine hop aroma with an addition of a bottle of Irish Whiskey |
|
Windsor Knot – 4.0% ABV |
Windsor Knot was originally brewed to commemorate the wedding of HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton. Like all our ales, it’s made with the finest natural ingredients including two specially selected hops, Sovereign and Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand. Sauvin is named for it’s likeness to the white wine fruitiness of the Sauvignon grape. Unusually for an ale, Windsor Knot is also delicious served chilled from the fridge. |
|
Republika – 4.8% ABV (Bottled Czech Pilsner only) |
Republika is our first lager. It’s made with the same passion and creativity that we put into our ales. Using Saaz hops and Czech pilsner yeast and malt, we ferment for 2 weeks before ‘lagering’ for a further 6 weeks. The result is a refreshing, full flavoured pilsner lager with a balanced, rounded taste. |
